How screened commercial leads are prepared
Our system discovers merchants through public sources including Meta Ad Library, Google Search and Shopify subdomains. Records are deduplicated, enriched and reviewed by people. Store advertising activity, promoted products and potential best-seller signals inform the research and suggested opening angle.
Formal delivery is an agreed data batch charged quarterly and delivered by email. Confirm the required fields, observation dates and screening scope before delivery. The free MCP and website CSV have their own limited fields; they do not demonstrate every commercial research field.
What the public evidence supports
This guide uses the DropshippingLeads public pages and the 40-record curated CSV. The CSV does not contain per-record collection dates, latest verification dates, sales evidence or resolved company identities. Those facts cannot be filled in from the file alone.
The website states that the sample links have not all been individually checked online. Opening a link today records a new observation; it does not establish when the original record was collected.
Separate records, evidence and conclusions
| Layer | What to retain | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Source record | Original value and sample source | The market field says US |
| Verification | Checked URL, time and observed content | The product is visible at this check |
| Research conclusion | Reasoning, limits and open questions | The product may fit; buying intent remains unknown |
Timestamps and entity boundaries
The website’s daily-tracking description refers to collection and update work. It does not mean every record is reverified each day. Actual coverage, update frequency and delivery cadence depend on the agreed service.
Deduplicating domains is different from deduplicating companies. A company can operate several stores, and a storefront can involve different brand, operating and billing entities. Do not claim company-level uniqueness without identity evidence.
- Record import time separately from the original observation time.
- Retain source links and record missing or changed pages.
- State scope, date, deduplication unit and filters alongside any count.
Agree on quality requirements before delivery
Define required fields, handling of missing values, duplicate boundaries, fields needing human verification, issue reporting and delivery timing in the service scope.
These are suggested acceptance criteria to agree on; they are not claims that the public sample has passed every check. The curated sample cannot establish a database-wide accuracy rate.
Website examples and the MCP pool have separate scopes
The website’s 40 curated CSV examples remain separate and available for viewing and download. The initial DropshippingLeads MCP pool is prepared as 14 main categories with 100 free records per category, excluding food and beverages, and the remote public pool is ready at https://mcp.dropshippingleads.com/mcp. No API key is required. Source downloads contain no real catalog and init-catalog creates an empty not_ready package.
This MCP pool retains real store URLs, existing explicit categories and recorded market labels, and excludes pending classifications. products and contacts may be empty; unknown observed_at values remain null. confirmed means the source has an explicit category, not that every store was manually verified. Business collection continues daily and commercial updates are quarterly; free-pool versions are managed separately.
Questions answered
Is a generated-file date the merchant information update date?
No. A file-generation or import timestamp describes processing. The date a merchant fact was observed or verified needs separate evidence.
Does the “hot product link” field prove strong sales?
That is the source sample’s field label. The CSV supplies no sales volume, ranking or time-window evidence, so use it as a product reference.
