Find Stores by Category: Discovery, Screening and Research

DropshippingLeads translates your platform’s supply capabilities into relevant merchant leads. Public-source discovery is followed by deduplication, enrichment, product and advertising research and human review, so representatives receive prepared leads and can start development.

Turn a broad category into a usable supply brief

“Pet supplies,” “home” and “apparel” describe a direction but do not define a suitable prospect. Pet clothing, beds and health products have different attributes and service needs. Explain the product types your platform supplies, categories to exclude and markets you can currently support.

Provide your catalogue or a few representative product links and identify the priorities. This allows screening to focus on actual products rather than including a merchant simply because its website contains a related keyword.

DropshippingLeads carries out discovery and screening against that brief. Your representatives do not have to first work through a large list and select stores themselves.

Turn discoveries into screened and researched leads

Discovery is followed by deduplication, enrichment and human review. Screening assesses product fit; research examines promoted products, recent ad activity and potential bestseller signals. The output organizes reasons to approach each merchant and product angles within the agreed scope.

Shopify, WooCommerce and custom websites are different storefront approaches; none determines fit by itself. Unless integration requires a particular platform, focus on product and market relevance. Cross-platform discovery does not establish complete web coverage or verified merchant size and purchasing models.

Use the prepared research for the first conversation

Representatives can read the delivered conclusions and evidence, then explain a relevant platform capability using a specific product. For example, a merchant’s promoted pet beds may provide a reason to introduce matching product materials, supported markets or integration options where those capabilities exist. This is a workflow illustration, not a customer case study.

A merchant matching several categories should receive one focused approach, not be treated as multiple customers. Agree how related websites are grouped and which known customers are excluded before the project begins.

Separate ongoing discovery from quarterly delivery

DropshippingLeads discovers and supplements public data daily, with research covering ad activity and promoted products. Batch scope, updates and observation dates follow the agreement. Daily maintenance does not mean unlimited research rights during the quarter or every field updating daily.

Quarterly pricing covers a defined batch delivered by email. The website’s five-field sample illustrates format; the free MCP provides 100 records in each of 14 potentially overlapping categories. Neither equals the formal batch researched for your brief. Advertising and bestseller signals support interpretation and conversation, not claims of actual sales, profit or buying intent.

Questions answered

Must our representatives research stores individually through these channels?

No. DropshippingLeads completes agreed discovery, screening and research before delivery. Representatives use the prepared relevance and product angles to begin conversations.

Should we restrict the search to Shopify stores?

Use Shopify as a requirement when your business or integration capability makes it necessary. Otherwise, prioritize product and market fit; relevant merchants may use WooCommerce or other storefront technology.

Does a category match mean a merchant wants to change suppliers?

No. Product relevance supports a conversation but does not establish a purchasing plan, supplier change or use of dropshipping.

Can you guarantee a number of merchants in a specific niche?

The requirement and available delivery scope need to be reviewed before a batch is agreed. Free broad-category counts cannot establish a quantity for an arbitrary niche.
